Booking a trip takes twelve tabs.
Mobizo compresses the chaos — flights, stays, day plans and budgets — into one companion that follows you from “maybe Goa?” to wheels-down. Flexible-date search shows when to fly, price tracking says when to book, and the whole itinerary works offline at 30,000 feet or in a dead-zone highway dhaba.
A concept-to-prototype engagement with input from eleven frequent travelers.
Discovery wall — eleven traveler interviews distilled into three personas.
Flow sprints — testing flexible-date search against five real itineraries.
Compare everything, overwhelm no one.
Travel decisions are emotional and numeric at once: the red-eye is cheaper but ruins day one. Mobizo’s job was honest comparison — total trip cost (not just fares), realistic day plans (not just pins), and alerts that respect your budget instead of nagging you.
- Flexible-date grid with true total-trip pricing
- Day plans that auto-balance travel time and rest
- Full offline mode: tickets, maps and stays on-device
One trip, one timeline.
Every trip lives on a single vertical timeline — inspiration saves at the top, bookings in the middle, day-by-day at the bottom. A sky-to-indigo visual system shifts from dreaming (light) to booked (deep) as the trip firms up, and group trips get split-cost tracking so nobody maintains the spreadsheet.
Testers planned real upcoming trips in the prototype; the flexible-date grid was the unanimous favorite.
